Details

We'll explore what it would take to make compassion a natural part of our daily lives.
To learn this language and lifestyle of compassion, we'll work at hearing and understanding what people are saying and requesting.  That includes empathy with ourselves and others who are angry, hurt, scared, etc.

We'll try to act from the awareness that everyone is doing the best they know how to try to meet their needs.

Points

  • We'll practice connecting with our own and others' feelings and needs--and get in touch with a doable request. That will include
  • •Connecting, not Correcting
  • •Translating self-judgments into self-empathy, and
  • •Transforming criticism and judgments of others into compassionate understanding.

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in learning a more heartfelt way to communicate so both people are heard and understood.
