Learning to move with less effort makes daily life easier. Because the Feldenkrais Method® of Somatic Education focuses on the relationship between movement and thought, increased mental awareness and creativity accompany physical improvements.  In this workshop we will use Feldenkrais® Awareness Through Movement® lessons in which the teacher verbally leads students through a series of comfortable, easy movements that gradually evolve in range and complexity.  These precisely structured movement explorations utilize thinking, sensing, moving and imagining as tools for improving all aspects of human functioning.

Nonviolent Communication (SM) is a method of learning to communicate with empathy, honesty and confidence. NVC supports creating quality connections with oneself and others in which everyone's needs are equally valued. This allows people to create strategies and meaningful solutions that resolve issues and deepen relationships in all aspects of life.

Using Nonviolent Communication (SM) and the Feldenkrais Method®--"Awareness Through Movement"® together, you can embody self-compassion while reconnecting with your natural ability to move, think and feel without pain and without negativity. This unique hybrid course awakens your mind, body and heart by combining these two disciplines in a fun and energetic experience!
