If you're like most teachers, you are motivated by a passion to share information you find interesting, important and even life-changing. But how do you get the full power of your message across to your adult audience? Holly Eckert and Sarah Peyton, with their combined teaching experience of 30 years, will share their top strategies drawn from the fields of Nonviolent Communication, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Mindfulness and Curriculum Design so you can inspire learning authentically, joyfully and effectively.

Learn to:
*Create an environment of trust
*Open your student's minds for your information
*Make your information relevant to every participant
*Increase your ability to respond effectively to anything that happens in the room
*Refocus a group whose focus has dispersed
*Anchor your information inside your students with specific brain-based curriculum design strategies
*Increase enjoyment of the learning process--for students and teachers!

Open to 30 participants.

Sarah Peyton is a workshop and communication facilitator from Vancouver, WA and is a CNVC Certification Candidate.  Her offerings integrate the latest brain research with communication skills, focusing on how we hear and understand one another, on effective ways to connect hearts, and on what the cutting edge of neuroscience has to tell us about what happens in relationship.  She is a regular contributor to the GAINS (Global Association of Interpersonal Neurobiology Studies) Quarterly.  She studies with Daniel Siegel, Bonnie Badenoch and Allan Schore.  Her presentations are fun and inspiring, and she makes the abstract information about what happens in the brain accessible for all.  Contact info:  Sarah Peyton, p e y t w o o d AT DOMAIN isomedia~com, (206)579-1696.
