Details

   We'll begin to explore ways NVC can help children to handle strong feelings, to learn what their needs are and how to make requests to get them met. The workshop will be participatory, and interactive, with handouts provided. Some ideas and patterns for creating materials will be offered. These were developed with the staff of the Maria Montessori Language and Cultural Center that was located at  Ballard High School, and were used and tested (with amazing results) in the preschool setting there. The workshop will be participatory, with time for questions, and interaction with others.

Who is it for?

  Teachers and/or parents of young children, or child care directors, assistant
teachers or other caregivers.
