Details

There are times when all of us cling to the past—opportunities that have come and gone, dreams that were never fulfilled, people and things that we are now separated from. When our pain and disappointment about these unfulfilled potentials goes without acknowledgment, we are blocked from the possibilities of the present moment. Through this mourning ritual, based on Nonviolent Communication, we have the opportunity to connect with our grief, bringing us peace and acceptance.

The ritual will contain journaling, spoken sharing and listening in a guided structure.

Open to the first eight participants and offered on my birthday as a fundraiser for the Freedom Project, which offers NVC and mindfulness training for prisoners, returnees to the community, and their families.

Who is it for?

Open to the first eight participants, any level of previous NVC experience (including none) is fine.
