Janice Eng presents Sarah Peyton, Northwest trainer of Compassionate Communication and the Brain

In this hands-on weekend workshop you will gain a working knowledge of the interaction of our brain structures when we are connecting with ourselves and others.   You will experience how empathy integrates your nervous system, and learn how the tools of Nonviolent Communication(NVC)  move you into greater clarity, spaciousness and choice.

In this workshop we will cover how to:

·        Use NVC to create new neural pathways in your brain.

·        Use empathy to heal and strengthen the well-being of our mind and body, with hands-on exercises and experience.

·        Re-pattern neural pathways of shame and/or anger, and create inner resources to make empowering choices and responses.

·        Increase awareness and spontaneity, especially in challenging situations.

Use NVC tools for the healing of trauma, returning to a more empowered, resourceful state.

Sarah Peyton, independent facilitator from Vancouver, WA, has been teaching Compassionate Communication and the Brain for three years from Alaska to Oregon, and is in the IPNB program at Portland State University.

Janice Eng is an independent trainer from Seattle who has taught for nine years in prisons through the Freedom Project. She also teaches workshops, classes, and practice groups for the general public, and has taught in schools, businesses, churches, and conferences.
