Susan is a trainer, consultant and speaker. An Assistant Dean at UCLA In the early70's she co-created and taught the Women’s Studies Program, the first major program of this kind at a university in the United States. Since 1976, she has developed and led trainings in a variety of self-development areas. In addition, Susan has a private consulting and coaching practice. She has been a certified trainer for CNVC since 1994. A graduate of Bryn Mawr College, Yale University and Pacifica Graduate Institute, Susan has Masters Degrees in Psychology Russian and East European Studies.

Over the Last two years, Susan has traveled widely providing training In Nonviolent Communication to communities in the United States, Canada and Europe She has been a regular trainer at the ten-day International Intensive Trainings Sponsored by the Center for Nonviolent Communication. She is also a founder of the NVC Training Institute, which offers seven-day intensives In North America and Europe.
