Please join us for a funfilled evening learning the Basics of Nonviolent Communication, as developed by Marshall Rosenberg,PhD. All proceeds will benefit the Cascade Peoples Center, a downtown nonprofit organization which provides many services free for the public, including free childcare for over 650 families, gathering produce from local grocery stores and distributing it to low income families, provides many free classes for all ages, hosts many nonprofit groups, feeds the homeless twice a week, etc. etc. It is also a green building, educating about environmental sustainability  and uses rainwater for toilets and a vegetable garden.
This is a Center for the people. It just lost its funding and will most likely be closed at the end of the year. They are looking for ways to keep open, including talking to city council members soon. Please come, invite friends, and show support for the Cascade People's Center
