This is not an NVC training per se, but rather an inquiry and exploration into the relationship between Gandhi's spiritual path and teaching, NVC, and the role of spiritual practice in our lives.

We will begin with a clear understanding of the path Gandhi called "satyagraha" - literally, "holding to the truth." We will inquire how each of us, as modern world citizens, can walk the path he outlined in the context of our own lives and society.

Then we'll look at NVC from a Gandhian perspective. Where do the principles and methods of NVC correspond with the path of satyagraha? Are there differences.

Finally, we will explore the role of spiritual practice in our own lives. How can each of us approach NVC as Gandhian-based spiritual practice? What are the challenges? How can we deepen our commitment to this path? And more.

Who is it for?

Everyone who is interested. Some familiarity with the principles and methods of NVC will be helpful. Familiarity with Gandhi's path and teaching may also be helpful, but is certainly not necessary.
