Join us for an interactive and fun introduction to the consciousness and practice of NVC. Our goal in this two-hour intro is to light you up with inspiration about this powerful shift in consciousness. Along the way, you'll witness tools and techniques (the four-step model, key differentiations, etc.) that help transform lifelong habits of thinking, speaking, and listening.

Bring your personal examples and questions. Gain insight into improving your relationships, discover how to hear what someone is longing for in their heart (even when they use critical, judgmental language), and learn about the possibilities for nurturing peace in your life, work, and community.

Our emphasis is on providing space and safety for you to try on these ideas and find how they fit for you. We want help you to determine how NVC can enrich your life, and whether you'd like to deepen your learning in a way that fits your unique path.

We invite you to visit our website, Awakening Compassion, for more information about us.

Who is it for?

Please join us if you are new to NVC and looking to find out if it fits for you.  People familiar with NVC are also welcome to explore our approach of focusing on inspiration and using the tools with personal authenticity.

What to bring:

Your energy and aliveness, your emotions (up or down), your personal experiences, are all welcome!  You may wish to bring a notepad and pen or pencil if you enjoy taking notes to help you remember new ideas.
