Hosted and facilitated by NVC trainer Doug Dolstad, and his partner, Cindy Evans, the weekend is designed for six couples with a mix of NVC workshops, free time to enjoy hiking in the rainforest or a lakeside stroll, relaxing in front of the log fire in the rustic main lodge, or perhaps swimming in the indoor heated pool with a trip to the sauna afterwards.

On Saturday eve, dress up for the Winter Ball and dinner in the Grand Ballroom, then sweep your partner off his/her feet dancing to your favorite music (the DJ encourages requests.) Doug, a ballroom dance teacher, is available for ballroom dancing lessons if you'd like to brush up on your old moves or learn some new ones.

SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY DEC. 9, 7:30-9:30 pm, informal gathering in main lounge to meet Doug and Cindy as well as other couples. We'll have a few fun icebreakers planned.

SATURDAY Dec.10, 8 -10 am: Doug and Cindy available for private sessions
              10:30 am to noon: Meet in Murphy Room for morning session.
              Noon-2 p.m.: lunch break
              2 p.m. to 4:30 pm: Meet in Murphy Room for afternoon session.
              Free time until Winter Ball

SUNDAY Dec. 11,   (breakfast)
                 9 am to 10 am: Gather for closure in Murphy Room
                 10 am to 1 pm: Doug and Cindy available for private sessions.

Who is it for?

Couples who want fun, romance and NVC as a way to deepen their partnership connection. A working knowledge of NVC is important. We strongly encourage you to read (or re-read) Marshall's book (Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life).
