Details

We have been taught (most of us) to compete, judge, evaluate what (who) is right and wrong. These strategies can lead to misunderstanding and frustration. In some cases depression, anger, and guilt.
In our time together, we will learn to share our feelings, identify needs, and make a requests (not a demands). Making observations (instead of judgements) is a part of the process as well.
I'm truly excited to bring this basic yet radical method of communication to whomever is interested in changing up their habitual way of interacting in general ...especially in close relationships .

Points

  • Stay peaceful in the face of criticism.
  • Speak, listen, and think in ways that inspire compassion and understanding.
  • Transform patterns of thinking that lead to stress, depression, guilt, and shame.

Who is it for?

Anyone interested in finding more effective ways of relating to themselves and others.
Those who are tired of the same old frustrating interactions with others that lead to isolation and sadness.
Folks with no NVC experience and those who want review and practice.
