Details

The Gandhi King Season for Nonviolence (SNV) is an annual 64 day campaign, starting on Jan 30th and ending on April 4th, commemorating the memorial anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It is an educational awareness campaign of nonviolent principles as a powerful way to heal, transform and empower our lives, relationships, and communities. Every person can move the world in the direction of peace through his or her daily nonviolent choice and action.

In honor of the Season of Nonviolence, I am offering an eight week course in Nonviolent Communication as developed by Marshall Rosenberg, PhD.  Topics covered  are what is nonviolence, exploring our power, true peace vs. negative peace, expressing our truth in ways that can be heard, listening with the heart, transforming enemy images, befriending our anger, and expressing appreciation.
