Details

   Family Camp is where fun, connection, support, adventure, learning and transformation come together in a unique immersion training/family vacation experience. Join families and staff from around the world on our 26-acre family heritage farm with nearby beach access on beautiful Vashon Island, WA.

By offering each other our support and presence we'll dip into what it’s like to live in a world where the intention is to contribute to the quality of connection necessary to meet everyone’s needs.  We'll explore how it is to be compassionate with ourselves, our children/youth/teens and each other, while living in supportive community with other families. We carry the hope that you'll be able to extend your experience at camp into your daily lives by fostering the connections you have made.

Once again Family Camp at our "Family Camp" farm on Vashon Island. Barb and Doug's working farm property holds 26 acres of organic gardens, fields, orchards, berries, a stream and two forests. There is beach access nearby to the shores of Puget Sound and plenty of room to frolic.

Who is it for?

  We're encouraging parents and others whose lives are closely intertwined with children/youth to come spend time in an environment that supports us as we learn and deepen our experience with NVC while our youth/tweens/teens have the opportunity to engage in activities that nurture their emotional, creative and interpersonal growth.

What to bring:

  This is a real camp! We ask that everyone bring your own camping equipment: tents, sleeping bags, pillows! If this is not possible for your family, we have a limited number of camping supplies available at a nominal cost. Please contact Doug or Barbara!

Tuition Details:

  

The tuition is: $650 per person (over age of 2) Some tuition support available

If tuition is not paid at time of registration, the minimum deposit is $500.00 with the remainder due by Jul 01, 2019.

Tuition is per person.  

Deposit is per family.

We are making a significant commitment to organic and local, including meat.  

Registration is per family (list everyone will you unless there's a reason not to)
We don't do credit cards anymore.  Two ways to pay: 1) Get old fashioned and  send a check (remember them?) to: PSNCC Family Camp; 11205 SW Corbin Beach Road, #2, Vashon, WA 98070.  Note: "Family Camp" in Memo line please)   or contact Doug for alternative arrangements (eg. using email Zelle, Google Pay etc).  Please pay in full by July 1st OR make arrangements with Registrar (Doug)  Thank you!

Cancellations and Refunds:

   We understand that circumstances can change and sometimes people need to cancel.  And, on the organizing end, we're making financial commitments: hiring staff, purchasing materials and food based on registration numbers. With all that in mind, we designed the following cancellation policy REQUEST to make Family Camp an affordable, fair and sustainable experience for all!

For cancellations before July 1, we will refund whatever you've paid, minus a $75 per person fee.  

For cancellations between July 1 and July 15, we'll refund whatever you've paid, minus a $300 per person fee, as we've incurred a lot of non-refundable costs by that time.

For cancellations after July 15, we will keep your tuition as a tax-deductible donation to camp, as most of our camp costs have been committed by then based on our registration numbers.  Or, if you find a family to replace yours, that works too.  

Of course, these are our requests, and especially in the case of emergencies, we're happy to make exceptions.
