  Suggested donation for weekend is $150. Its $30-$300 on a sliding scale but free for current and new prison volunteers. Freedom Project operates on a gift economy. All contributions are greatly appreciated and no one will be turned away for a lack of funds.

Details

   This workshop will explore the basic principles of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a language and consciousness of compassion that is used worldwide to help people transform blame, anger, and criticism into understanding, effective communication, and peaceful resolution of conflict. By focusing on our observations, feelings, needs, and requests, we can increase the empathy and honesty we give both to ourselves and to others.

Who is it for?

  Anybody who is interested in exploring the basic principles of Nonviolent Communication. But please note this is a 18+ event.
