We'll spend the day learning about and doing role plays that can support us in coming to peace with and better understanding people with whom we've experienced unresolved pain or disconnection.

Nonviolent Communication (NVC) offers a very powerful "healing and reconciliation process." While this process can sometimes be done in real life between two people who've experienced a break in trust between them, it's most often done in a role play setting. In the role play, one person plays themself, and the other takes on the role of the person on the other side of the conflict. Doing this sort of role play can offer significant healing and insight.

During the workshop, we'll demonstrate the process, break down how it works, and practice doing the process with one another -- to support learning and healing.

It's likely to be a powerful experience. Please join us!

Let me (Bob (b o b AT DOMAIN nwcompass~org)) know if you need a ride from the ferry or have questions.
