[While this is not a Nonviolent Communication training, the goals and approach of this event are likely to be experienced as in alignment with NVC.]

How do we want to sustain community where values like safety, trust, and care are held by all?

How can we hold space for the most marginalized people in society to step into leadership in creating systems that serve the Whole?

How can we deepen our courage, empower all to live their truth, and stand up for our collective well-being?

How can we engage with social issues in a way that’s meaningful, powerful, and has an impact on our lives?

Join us to build community at the Rainforest Lab for Cultural Transformation around a vision for a sustainable, nonviolent future. This 4-day retreat is designed to tap into our collective potential using collaborative structures that support shared leadership, listening, and healing. Two of the primary structures we plan to use during the retreat are Community Sourced Programming and working groups. Community Sourced Programming is an approach to collaboration and leadership that’s purpose, rather than agenda driven.  Working groups, exploring how to bring dialogue around systemic change to more and more people,  will be organized based on Holacratic principles and will each focus on a particular system such as the economic, education, or governance system.
