Change doesn’t happen in a vacuum. If you’ve ever tried to effect meaningful change in your personal life, workplace, or community, then you know that it’s hard to do it alone. Working together is a must if we are going to build the kind of world we want to live in!
How you communicate can literally make or break your social relationships. It’s this simple: if you want resilient relationships, you need skillful communication. Listening with an open mind, staying connected through challenge, conveying your opinions, ideas and requests in a way that enhances collaboration—these are the skills you need to advance your personal career and larger goals. And like any art, skillful communication takes practice. Join us for 8 sessions of hands-on learning around compassionate, effective communication! In addition to experiential learning in each session, you will also receive weekly handouts, materials, and practices to support you in solidifying your new skills. We will meet on Tuesday afternoons from 4:00-5:30pm at WeWork in South Lake Union on the following dates: October 18 |
