Tuition:

  The tuition is between $1.00 and $50.00.
Cost for 1 day is $30, cost for 2 days is $50.  Registration and payment helps us plan and cover costs of set up of the training, materials, advertising. You will be given back your fee and you may give a donation that works for you.

Details

   Two days of exploration, training and practice of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), a time proven tool and consciousness for bringing for more understanding and connection to your relationships.  These two days will give each participant a chance to pick and choose what you want to learn and how.  There will be a variety of trainers and enthusiasts sharing the consciousness and tools of NVC in an open-space format. The festival format means there will be areas with different offerings where participants can move from booth to booth or into workshops.  Offerings for all ages.

- How to foster connection in the classroom

- How to give feedback, express honestly and have it received in the way you want

- Working with regret and how to express regret
- Exploring decision making
- Restorative practices for families and communities
- Connecting games for children and parents
- How to hold a compassionate listening circle
- Loving the inner critic
- Hearing no and saying no
- On blaming and being blamed
- Deep empathy and the power to heal
- Privilege and being an ally
- NVC for social change agents and social activists
- Attachment theory and how NVC can support gaining secure attachment

*** This is a nonresidential conference and festival.  We will send information on local camping options along with hotels and air B and B options.  Or you can commute.  You will be responsible for your meals. Lunch options are available nearby in Poulsbo which is a 5-10 minute drive or bus from the location.  We may be able to have food trucks there, yet this is unknown at this time. You can bring a sack lunch and a kitchen and microwave will be available.

What to bring:

  Whatever will bring you comfort in sitting. Pen and paper if desired.  
Your lunch - Food will  not be provided. There are food options in Poulsbo about 10 minutes drive away.  We may also be able to get a food truck to stop by (it's in the planning stage now).  You are also welcome to bring a sack lunch. There will be a microwave available to use if needed.
