Details

What do you say when your co-worker tosses out a comment that makes you cringe? How do you talk about race with a relative or friend?  What is your reaction to hearing a racist joke? How do you respond to upsetting posts on Facebook? What do you do when you realize you've just offended someone?

Bring your difficult race conversations, scenarios, interactions, and challenges. During the workshop, we'll learn and practice reliable strategies for engaging in race conversations & acting as allies, without causing disconnection. Whether or not you have specific situations in mind, you will find the practical aspects of this workshop applicable to your everyday life.
