   Join us for a 10-week series on the Essentials of Compassionate Communication! Together we will discover how simple communication tools can help us to find more connection, meaning, authenticity, and joy in our lives.

In a step-by-step exploration of Dr. Marshall Rosenberg’s theory of Nonviolent Communication (NVC), we will practice:

- Giving and receiving empathy
- Expressing ourselves authentically
- Transforming anger, shame, and blame
- Navigating challenging situations
- Living in alignment with our values ... and more!

Materials:
We will use Dr. Rosenberg’s book “Nonviolent Communication: A Language of Life.”

Scheduling Note:
We will meet Tuesday evenings 7-9pm, March 15th - May 24th with a one-week break in the middle (skip April 19th).

  Anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of Compassionate Communication, regardless of any prior experience with NVC. People of all backgrounds, sexual orientations, and gender identities are welcome!

The tuition is: Sliding scale $250-450 payable by cash, check, or credit card (3% transaction fee) at our first session on 3/15/16.

Work exchange is available to anyone for whom finances would be a barrier to participating. If finances pose a challenge for you, please inquire about alternative options, and we will find a creative strategy together. I am dedicated to making this series available to everyone, regardless of capacity to pay money. No one will be turned away for lack of funds!
