Details

The training offers practical and effective ways to make communication more harmonious.  People sometimes experience criticisms, judgments, and misunderstandings. In the workshop, we’d practice connecting with feelings and needs to make difficult exchanges productive and satisfying.

In the workshop, participants learn how to improve interactions in the following areas:
•    Reduce misunderstandings by asking questions that clarify what others say.
•    Cut way down on criticism or judgment by identifying underlying thoughts, feelings, and needs.
•    Focus on solutions (what works) rather than on problems (what doesn't work).
•    Create agreements that build trust and understanding.
•    Learn self-empathy to more peacefully manage difficult interactions.
