Often with people whom we care about the most, we have difficulty expressing our truth, sharing who we are, or what we want. We might skirt around an issue out of fear of their reactions, as well as our own. At times, we may also have difficulty fully listening to another, out of fear for how we might be seen, or being able to handle what they are saying.
This evening will be a brief introduction of different communication skills which can empower us to speak and listen with more clarity and compassion,connecting more fully with ourselves and one another. |
