How can NVC be applied to any organization, family, or community? How can we support NVC consciousness without people learning the NVC form or language? Restorative Circles offer a powerful and simple process for conflict transformation that can be adapted to all kinds of contexts. Based in NVC, Restorative Circles are transforming how justice is supported in countries around the world.
During this day-long event, we will explore real-life examples of Restorative Circles being applied to transforming conflict, as well as giving participants practice in facilitation skills, and offering tools to support restorative responses to conflict in your own community (family, neighborhood, workplace, etc). Come early: You’re welcome at the house as of 9:30am. We’d love to start at 10am sharp, and parking may involve a little walk (see below), so please arrive early if you can. Parking: Parking on Capitol Hill can be an adventure. I suggest looking for parking North of the house (628 12th Ave E @ Roy St), on 12th, 13th, or 14th Ave E, toward Volunteer Park. Or, there’s a paid parking lot just a block away, at 11th Ave E & Aloha St. Lunch: There are many great restaurants nearby, or you're welcome to bring a lunch and put it in the refrigerator. The tuition is: The tuition is: $60 contribution requested. All welcome, regardless of finances. The financial contribution of $60 is requested to cover costs for this learning event. However, we are dedicated to making this opportunity available to all, so if finances are a challenge, please contact i n f o AT DOMAIN findflow~org to discuss work exchange possibilities.
