Details

Angry? Sad? Scared? Confused?  Want better results when you’re communicating with certain people? Wish you felt more connected?
Come learn and practice the skills of compassion, based on Marshall Rosenberg's Nonviolent Communication (NVC).
It’s about each of you understanding and feeling heard around what’s important to both of you. We’ll listen with our heart, and practice compassion with our own and others’ feelings and needs.
Come one or both times. The Intro will focus on relating to our own and others’ feelings and values and doing demos and practicing the skills learned.

Points

  • -Connecting, not Correcting, realizing that everyone does the best they know how at any given moment to try and meet their needs.
  • -Translating self-judgments into self-empathy, and
  • -Transforming criticism and judgments of others into compassionate understanding.

Who is it for?

Anyone who'd like to increase their skills in empathy and connection with people with whom they interact.
