Prepare yourself to have a rollicking day of using NVC with youth and teenagers. I first learned NVC skills when I had 3 teenage sons, all bouncing off the walls. It didn't resolve every problem, but it really gave us a way to connect so that both our needs as parents and theirs as young people finding their way in a confusing world could be acknowledged, respected, and acted on.

We will be practicing our skills with role-plays and exercises--If possible, we will have direct interaction between adults and teens

Who is it for?

For Parents, Youth & Teens, Educators, Counselors, Social Workers and Youth Group Leaders--

Adults: Some exposure to NVC is requested. If you have read Nonviolent Communcation by Marshall Rosenberg or have attended an intoduction, then you are welcome to attend.
Youth & Teens: No previous experience necessary
